Manuela Barczewski was born in Poland and grew up in Germany. She studied photography at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and finished her MA in fine art in 2007 at Central St. Martins. She currently lives in London.
Over a period of ten years Manuela Barczewski has photographed both exhibitions and art performances and events. Her clients include Serpentine Gallery, South London Gallery, Chisenhale Gallery, Focal Point Gallery, Mot International, Cell Projects, Cubitt Gallery, Res., Southard Reid, LUX, Central Saint Martins, Southbank Centre, Faudet/Harrison, Donlon Books, Dummy Magazine Berlin, Willis Newson Agency
Beside her commissions she is continuing to develop her own fine art practice.
